Rapid Prototype Castings

Engineered Precision Casting Co., Inc. is capable of supplying aerospace grade rapid prototype castings from a CAD file (.STL or other files after translation) with a lead time of only four weeks. Its gas-quenched vacuum furnaces for heating steel and our drop-bottom aluminum furnaces are surveyed regularly under strict accordance with the AMS-2750 Pyrometry requirements. HIPping (Hot Isostatic Pressing)

Welding, Casting Repair

When authorized by contract, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) in accordance with AMS-2694 and customer requirements is utilized to perform weld repair of castings.  Engineered Precision Casting Co, Inc. maintains qualified/certified welders and visual weld inspectors and is Nadcap accredited.


Nondestructive Testing

Engineered Precision Casting Co., Inc. is Nadcap accredited for its Nondestructive Testing operations. Personnel are qualified and certified to various customer requirements and aerospace industry standards such as NAS-410. Training programs, compliance audits, process controls, detailed procedures, and techniques round out a special process program that is dedicated to quality. Nondestructive Testing isn’t new to EPCO…it’s been a part of in-house operations for over thirty years.
